Sinan Çetin's testimony regarding 'causing zoning pollution' charge revealed: He blames his tenant

A report and criminal complaint were filed with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office alleging that Sinan Çetin had 4-5 unauthorized illegal structures built on his land in Sarıyer. Acting on the complaints, the prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the famous director for the crimes of "Violation of the Bosphorus Zoning Law" and "Causing Zoning Pollution."

The testimony of Sinan Çetin, who faces charges of "Violation of the Bosphorus Zoning Law" and "Causing Zoning Pollution," has been revealed.

According to the report by Dilek Yaman Demir from Ekol TV, Sinan Çetin, who was summoned to testify as part of the investigation, went to the Zoning Crimes Bureau at the Istanbul Courthouse today to provide his defense. According to Çetin's testimony, there are two separate investigation files against him.

In his testimony, Sinan Çetin blamed his tenant. Çetin argued in his statement that his tenant might have had illegal structures built on a property he rented out, and that he was unaware of this situation.

"THE ACTIONS WERE NOT TAKEN BY ME"

In the second file, it was alleged that unlicensed structures such as a pergola, a pool, and a winter garden were added to a property he owns in Arnavutköy without permission. In his testimony, Çetin claimed that these actions were not taken by him, that a relative was dealing with these matters, and that he was unaware of the situation.

The prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation into Sinan Çetin for the crimes of "Opposition to the Bosphorus Zoning Law," "Causing Zoning Pollution," and "Opposition to the Law on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Property." It was learned that other individuals mentioned in Çetin's testimony will also be included in the investigation.
