Şırnak Provincial Health Director Dr. Altın passes away after heart attack

Altın was taken to Şırnak State Hospital after suffering a heart attack at the hotel where he was staying in the evening. Despite all interventions by doctors, Dr. Altın could not be saved and passed away. 

It was learned that Suat Altın, who was appointed as the Şırnak Provincial Health Director in August 2023, was single.

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca stated in a post on his X account, "Our Şırnak Provincial Health Director Specialist Dr. Suat Altın was taken to the hospital following a sudden illness and, despite intensive efforts, could not be saved and has passed away. 

I wish God's mercy upon our colleague; I extend my condolences to his family, loved ones, and our community," he said.
