Şişli Deputy Mayor Ebru Özdemir arrested

Şişli Deputy Mayor Ebru Özdemir has been arrested on 'terrorism' charges.

While the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of 'aiding the PKK/KCK terrorist organization' continues, the individuals for whom detention warrants were issued were as follows:

On Monday, within the scope of the investigation, the Istanbul Criminal Judgeship of Peace had issued arrest warrants for Özdemir, Barış, and Altun.

Özdemir went to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan on March 26. Detained, Özdemir was taken to the Istanbul Police Department for processing.

Özdemir was arrested by the criminal judgeship of peace after undergoing a medical examination.
