Following the warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology, air temperatures in Istanbul dropped by approximately 10 degrees today.
While heavy rain was observed across the city, snowfall was recorded particularly in the higher parts of Silivri, Çatalca, and Başakşehir. It is estimated that the snowfall will increase in intensity during the night hours.
