Snow warning for Istanbul from AKOM
According to AKOM's report, Istanbul is expected to face storms, heavy downpours this week, and heavy snowfall on Monday. Weather conditions in Istanbul will change rapidly.

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) has shared its weekly weather forecast report.
In the statement made by AKOM, it was stated, "The south-westerly wind (lodos), which is expected to increase in intensity again this evening, is forecast to blow as a storm (60-90 km/h) with short-term gusts starting from Saturday evening (20:00), accompanied by downpours and, in some places, heavy thunderstorms."
AKOM's report indicated that heavy snowfall is expected in the city on Monday.
