Snowfall has begun in the higher elevations of some districts in Istanbul.

The heavy rain that began in the morning hours in Istanbul intensified, and in the higher elevations of Kartal, Ataşehir, Sultanbeyli, and Sancaktepe on the Anatolian Side, it gave way to snowfall.
Snow cover has formed in some areas along roadsides, in parks, and in gardens in the higher elevations, particularly on Aydos Hill.
