The provinces where education has been suspended are as follows:

ADANA
In the Tufanbeyli district of Adana, education in schools has been suspended for tomorrow due to snowfall.
Tufanbeyli District Governor Abdullah Cemil Can stated in a written announcement that adverse weather conditions are affecting the entire district.
Can noted that to take precautions against risks and dangers that may arise in transportation, education has been suspended for one day on Thursday, February 6, for all schools in the district, and that pregnant and disabled personnel will be considered on administrative leave.
BOLU
In Bolu, schools have been closed for 1 day due to the snowfall that has been effective since yesterday morning.
The snowfall, which began yesterday morning in Bolu, continues to be effective in the city center and high altitudes as of this morning. Due to the ongoing snowfall, the Bolu Governor's Office announced that schools have been closed for 1 day. Bolu Governor Abdulaziz Aydın stated on his social media account, "Due to the snowfall and icing affecting our province, education has been suspended for 1 day on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in all our official and private educational institutions (including rehabilitation centers and Quran courses). Pregnant and disabled personnel working in our public institutions, mothers whose children attend daycare, kindergartens, and special education institutions, and personnel with chronic illnesses will be considered on administrative leave on the same day."
GÜMÜŞHANE
In Gümüşhane, following heavy snowfall, education has been suspended for one day in all schools across the province on Thursday, February 6, and disabled public officials will also be considered on administrative leave. The statement from the Gümüşhane Governor's Office indicated that, based on meteorological forecasts, heavy snowfall is expected to continue across the province until February 6, 2025, and due to the potential for transportation disruptions caused by icing on roads as temperatures drop, education has been suspended for 1 day on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in all official/private, formal and non-formal education institutions, special education and rehabilitation centers, special education courses, and daycare and preschool education institutions belonging to other public institutions and organizations operating under the Ministry of National Education in the city center and districts.
The statement also expressed that among the employees of public institutions and organizations, pregnant, disabled, and dialysis patients, as well as civil servants and other public officials with chronic severe illnesses such as heart and kidney failure, cancer, etc., will be considered on administrative leave for one day on February 6.

KAYSERİ
In Kayseri, education has been suspended for 1 day due to heavy snowfall. The statement from the Kayseri Governor's Office said, "According to meteorological data, the snowfall that started today across our province is expected to continue intermittently until the afternoon of Thursday, February 6, 2025, and the temperature is expected to drop below -5 degrees late at night, which will cause icing.
In order to prevent potential negative situations that may arise due to weather conditions; taking into account bused education and the mobility of public employees and students between the city center and districts, education has been suspended for 1 day on Thursday, February 6, 2025, by the decision of our Governor's Office in all official and private daycares, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, vocational training centers, non-formal education institutions, maturation institutes, private teaching courses, and special education and rehabilitation centers across the province. On the day when education is suspended in schools; female personnel whose children attend daycare, kindergarten, and primary school (the situation of personnel working in health, security, and units providing 24-hour service will be evaluated by the relevant unit heads as required by the service), disabled, severely chronically ill, and pregnant public employees will also be considered on administrative leave."
KONYA
In the Halkapınar, Hadim, and Doğanhisar districts of Konya, education has been suspended for one day in all schools due to heavy snow and adverse weather conditions, while in the Ereğli district, only bused education has been suspended for one day.
Heavy snow has negatively affected life in the surroundings and districts of Konya. Due to the snowfall, education in schools in the Halkapınar, Hadim, and Doğanhisar districts was suspended on Thursday, February 6.
In Ereğli, it was announced that only bused education in primary and secondary schools was suspended for one day on Thursday, February 6.
The statement from the Halkapınar District Governor's Office noted the following:
"In our Halkapınar district, in order to prevent problems that may be experienced in transportation due to the heavy snowfall, icing, and blizzard experienced during the day, and as a preventive measure against risks and negative situations that may occur, it has been decided by the District Public Health Board Decision to suspend education for (1) one day in all primary and secondary schools on Thursday, 06.02.2025."
In Ereğli, it was announced that only bused education in primary and secondary schools was suspended for one day on Thursday, February 6.
Additionally, the General Directorate of Highways shared the information on its X social media account that "The Seydişehir-Antalya road has been temporarily closed to heavy vehicle traffic due to snowfall and blizzard."
DÜZCE
In Düzce, schools were closed for 1 day due to snowfall. Düzce Governor Selçuk Aslan announced that schools in Düzce were closed for 1 day on Thursday, February 6, due to the ongoing snowfall. In his statement, Aslan said, "Dear children, due to the ongoing heavy snowfall and the risk of icing, education in our schools across our province has been suspended for 1 day on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Rest well on this beautiful winter day, play some snowballs, but don't neglect reading books. Enjoy the holiday."
ELAZIĞ
It was reported that education has been suspended for 1 day in the center of Elazığ. Elazığ Governor Numan Hatipoğlu stated, "It is estimated that the current precipitation will turn into snowfall starting from the morning hours. For this reason, education has been suspended for 1 day on February 6 in our city center. Our district governors will evaluate the situation in our districts and make decisions regarding their districts. In addition, our disabled employees and pregnant personnel will be considered on administrative leave. The statement said, "Due to the snowfall effective in our province and the danger of icing and freezing that may occur, education has been suspended for 1 day in all official and private formal and non-formal education institutions, rehabilitation centers, and Quran courses across our province. Pregnant and disabled personnel working in our public institutions, mothers whose children attend daycare and kindergarten, and personnel with chronic illnesses will be considered on administrative leave for one day."
ORDU
The Ordu Governor's Office announced that education has been suspended for 1 day in all of 5 districts and partially in 6 districts due to ongoing snowfall. The statement from the Governor's Office indicated that due to the snowfall, risk of freezing, and icing continuing in the high parts of the province, education has been suspended for 1 day in all of the Aybastı, Gölköy, Gürgentepe, Korgan, and Mesudiye districts.
The statement said, "Education has been suspended for 1 day on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in all schools of our Akkuş district except for the Borsa İstanbul Boarding Regional Secondary School, in all schools of our Çamaş district except for the Edirli Kocaman Primary and Secondary School and Türk Telekom Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, in the İlküvez Primary and Secondary School, İlküvez Multi-Program Anatolian High School, Göksu Primary and Secondary School, Kapılı Martyr İslam Çubuk Primary and Secondary School, Taşkesiği Primary and Secondary School, Aşıklı Primary School, Çakıllı Primary School of our Çaybaşı district, in the schools located in the Yoğunoluk and Devecik Neighborhoods of our İkizce district, in the Yokuşdibi Primary and Secondary School of our Kabadüz district, and in all bused-center schools of our Ulubey district, in all official and private education institutions."
The statement also mentioned that disabled and pregnant public officials in the districts where education is completely or partially suspended will also be considered on administrative leave on the same day.
SİVAS
In Sivas, education has been suspended for 1 day in schools due to heavy snowfall.
The heavy snow that started in Sivas the previous evening covered the city in white. The Sivas Governor's Office announced that education has been suspended for one day on Thursday, February 6, due to the risk of icing. The statement from the Sivas Governor's Office said, "Taking into account bused education and the mobility of public employees and students between the city center and districts that fit the situation described below, education has been suspended for 1 day on Thursday, February 6, 2025, by the decision of our Governor's Office in all official-private daycares, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, vocational training centers, non-formal education institutions, maturation institutes, private teaching courses, and special education and rehabilitation centers across the province. TUNCELİ
In the Pülümür district of Tunceli, bused education has been suspended for 1 day due to heavy snowfall.

YALOVA
The Yalova Governor's Office announced that education has been suspended for 1 day for bused education, village schools, and special education students due to the snowfall expected in the city on Thursday, February 6.
In the written statement made by the Yalova Governor's Office, the decision taken by the Provincial General Hygiene Board regarding the snowfall expected to be effective in the city tomorrow was announced. It was stated that education has been suspended for 1 day on February 6, 2025, for students who access schools via the bused education system in the city, village schools, and special education students. The statement included the following expressions:
"According to the data of the Regional Directorate of Meteorology, due to the snowfall, icing, and adverse weather conditions expected to be effective in our province on Thursday, February 6, 2025, it has been decided to suspend education for 1 day on Thursday, February 6, 2025, for students who access schools via the bused system in all official schools and institutions within our province, village schools across our province, special education students, and special education and rehabilitation centers. All our students who are outside the scope of bused education (formal education, non-formal education, and higher education) will continue their education on Thursday, February 6, 2025. In addition, it has been decided that disabled, pregnant, and chronically ill personnel working in public institutions will be considered on administrative leave for 1 day, provided that it does not disrupt the execution of mandatory services."
