Artist Gülben Ergen, who was summoned to testify as part of the Ahbap investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, made a statement on her social media account.

"TRULY, NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED"

Stating that she does not know the reason why her testimony was requested within the scope of the investigation, Ergen said she would comply with the prosecutor's request. Touching upon some recent legal processes in which her name was mentioned, Ergen expressed that these events have worn her down.

In her statement, Ergen said, "Truly, no good deed goes unpunished. A criminal complaint was filed against me by the prosecutor's office regarding the cases of Baby Sıla, Fatmanur, and her daughter. I was threatened during the Narin case process. I was lynched during the Rojin Kabaiş case. I do not know for what reason my testimony was requested regarding the process concerning Haluk Levent; however, I will go and provide my testimony in full."

In her statement, Ergen argued that steps taken with good intentions were manipulated and stated that she would resort to legal means against those she believes are responsible for this situation.

The artist announced that she would freeze her account on the social media platform X after the testimony process. Ergen explained her decision with the words, "Following my testimony process, I am ending my search for kindness and justice and freezing my X account."
