Social media survey from Asal Research: Which party's voters use Instagram the most?
While the Instagram ban continues in Turkey, Asal Research conducted a survey on social media platforms. The survey revealed which social media platforms party voters prefer.

The access ban imposed on Instagram by the BTK continues into its seventh day.
While there is eager anticipation regarding when Instagram, which has nearly 60 million users in Turkey, will be reopened, an access ban has now also been imposed on the gaming platform Roblox.
Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Digital Channels Commission and AKP Hatay MP Hüseyin Yayman also claimed that citizens want TikTok to be shut down, stating, "It is a national security issue for Turkey."
While bans are on Turkey's agenda, ASAL Research conducted a survey on the subject.
Participants were asked which social media applications they use the most. Instagram received the most responses, and the survey also revealed data on a party-by-party basis.
While 30.5 percent of participants said "Instagram," 20.3 percent said "Facebook." The rate of those who said X (Twitter) was 18.6 percent, while those who said YouTube was 14 percent.
Those who named TikTok accounted for 7.4 percent.
The survey also analyzed the social media preferences of party voters.
Instagram was the top choice for voters of the AKP, CHP, MHP, DEM Party, and IYI Party. The top three parties whose voters use Instagram the most are, in order, the IYI Party, the DEM Party, and the MHP.
Among the parties, the party whose voters use TikTok the most was the CHP.
