Solidarity call from TKP for Bursa: Our homes are open to our citizens affected by the fire

The forest fire that started between the Gürsu and Kestel districts of Bursa grew rapidly due to the effect of the wind. As interventions remained ineffective, the flames began to threaten residential areas, and many neighborhoods were evacuated. 

SOLIDARITY CALL FROM TKP 

As the flames advanced toward the district centers, the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) Bursa Provincial Organization issued a call for solidarity for the citizens affected by the fire. 

In the call, which stated, "Our party members' homes are open to our citizens whose homes have been damaged in the fire," it was also noted, "Furthermore, all our citizens who wish to open their homes to those whose homes were damaged in the fire can reach out to us."

"ONCE AGAIN, OUR PEOPLE ARE PAYING THE PRICE FOR NEGLIGENCE"

The TKP Bursa Provincial Organization also stated that negligence and lack of oversight were the causes of the events, adding, "The fire that broke out in the Gürsu district has engulfed residential areas, and the public is being evacuated. Once again, our people are paying the price for lack of oversight and negligence! Those who fail to fulfill their most basic duties are working for the interests of the capitalist class and leaving our people alone. We wish everyone a speedy recovery," they stated.
