Somali President's son's police statement in the Yunus Emre Göçer case revealed!

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's son, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, struck motorcycle courier Yunus Emre Göçer from behind with his car at the Aksaray exit of the Eurasia Tunnel on November 30.

While 38-year-old Yunus Emre Göçer was rushed to the hospital and placed in intensive care with life-threatening injuries, the Somali President's son, Mohamed Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, was released after his statement at the police station without even being brought before the prosecutor, allegedly because the police report 'showed the motorcycle courier at fault.' Göçer, who was seriously injured in the accident, lost his 6-day battle for life at the hospital where he was being treated.

FLED ABROAD ON DECEMBER 2

In the expert report prepared regarding the accident, the Somali President's son, Mohamud, was found to be "primarily at fault." Although the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued an arrest warrant for Mohamud, it emerged that the suspect had fled abroad on a scheduled flight on December 2.

MOHAMUD'S STATEMENT REVEALED: HE BLAMED THE MOTORCYCLE COURIER

In the motorcycle courier case, where scandals have followed one after another, the police statement of Somali President's son Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has been revealed.

According to the report by Kanal D Haber, Mohamud said in his police statement, "He suddenly braked without signaling. He made a right turn. He was not wearing a helmet. I braked, but I could not stop."

However, the footage showed that Göçer was driving in his own lane and that Mohamud did not brake or reduce his speed.

Mohamud also accused Göçer of trying to make a turn on a road where turning is not allowed. In the footage reflected in the press, Göçer was not making a turn either.
