Some metro stations will be closed to service today
The Taksim and Şişhane stations of the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line in Istanbul, along with the İstiklal Street entrance and the F1 Taksim-Kabataş Funicular Line, will be temporarily closed as of 14.00 today.

In an announcement made on Metro İstanbul's social media account, it was stated: "In accordance with the decision taken by the Istanbul Governor's Office, as of 14.00 on Saturday, March 8, the Taksim station of our M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line, the İstiklal Street entrance of the Şişhane station, and our F1 Taksim-Kabataş Funicular Line will be closed to service until further notice. Our vehicles will not stop at the Taksim station and will continue their journey."
