Some roads in 5 districts of Istanbul will be closed to traffic

The second stage of the "Tour of Istanbul" cycling race, organized by the Turkish Cycling Federation and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), will take place on September 14-15.

Due to the two-day program, some roads will be closed in Beykoz on Saturday, and in Fatih, Eyüpsultan, Beyoğlu, and Beşiktaş on Sunday.

Roads to be closed to traffic in Beykoz

On Saturday, September 14, between 08:00 and 14:30, the following roads in Beykoz will be closed to traffic: Çukur Çayır, Saip Molla and Ayvalıdere Streets, Sultaniye, Şehit Bülent Kocabıyık and Kelle İbrahim Streets, Şahinkaya, Dr. Fahrettin Erkinsoy and Mehmet Yavuz Streets, Şahinkaya, Akbaba, Maraş and Fener Streets, Karakulak, Tuna and Fener Yolu Streets, Anadolufeneri Road, the intersection of Kabakoz Road and Hicaz Street (arrivals from Anadolufeneri will be closed), the intersection of Yüzyıl Street and Dereboyu Street (Poyrazköy direction will be closed), Dereboyu Street and Kaynarca Village Road, Sırmakeş Street, Kalkandere Street (Kavacık direction will be closed), Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Street (Riva direction will be closed), Kekimoğlu İsmail Street, Riva Street-Northern Marmara Motorway Riva Entrance (Kavacık direction), Northern Marmara Motorway Riva 1 entrance-exit, Riva, Mucize, Paşamandıra and Demirkapı Streets, Saniye İsmail Hanım, Kılıçlı and Aşağı Mahalle Streets, the intersection of Şile and Yukarı Mahalle Street (arrivals from İshaklı will be closed), Beykoz, Dünya, Seyri and Paşa Streets.

Roads to be closed to traffic and alternative routes in Fatih

On Sunday, September 15, from 07:00 until the end of the event, the following roads in Fatih and all roads leading to them will be closed to traffic: Ayvansaray Street, Mürselpaşa Street, Abdülezelpaşa Street, Kadirhas Street, Ragıp Gümüşpala Street, Reşadiye Street, Coastal Kennedy Street (between Sirkeci and Samatya junction), the road inside Gülhane Park, Divan Yolu Street, Alemdar Street, At Meydanı Street (for tour buses), Üçler Street (for tour buses), Nakilbent Street (for tour buses), Aksakal Street (for tour buses), Küçükayasofya Street (for tour buses), and both directions of the Galata Bridge. Alternative routes are as follows: Atatürk Bridge, Fevzipaşa Street, Millet Street, Vatan Street, Onuncu Yıl Street.

Roads to be closed to traffic and alternative routes in Eyüpsultan

On Sunday, September 15, from 09:00 until the end of the event, Silahtarağa Street, Bahariye Street, and Yavedut Street in Eyüpsultan, along with all roads leading to them, will be closed to traffic. Alternative routes are as follows: Kazım Karabekir Street, Eyüpsultan Boulevard, Bülbüldere Street, Yıldıztabya Street, Vardar Boulevard, Gaziosmanpaşa Street.

Roads to be closed to traffic and alternative routes in Beyoğlu

On Sunday, September 15, from 07:00 until the end of the event, the following roads in Beyoğlu will be closed to traffic: Tersane Street (Karaköy Square direction), Kemeraltı Street (Beşiktaş direction), Necatibey Street and all roads leading to it, Maliye Street, and all roads leading to Meclis-i Mebusan Street in the Beşiktaş direction. Alternative routes for the roads to be closed in Beyoğlu are as follows: Refik Saydam Street, Tersane Street (Unkapanı direction), Atatürk Bridge, Bahriye Street, Evliya Çelebi Street, Tarlabaşı Boulevard, Piyalepaşa Boulevard.

Roads to be closed to traffic and alternative routes in Beşiktaş

On Sunday, September 15, from 07:00 until the end of the event, the following roads in Beşiktaş will be closed to vehicle traffic: all roads leading to Dolmabahçe Street in the Beşiktaş direction, Beşiktaş Street (Zincirlikuyu direction), all roads leading to Barbaros Boulevard in the Zincirlikuyu direction, Barbaros Boulevard (Sait Çiftçi junction, 15 July Martyrs Bridge direction), D-100 South (Zincirlikuyu, 15 July Martyrs Bridge direction), and all roads leading to Çırağan Street in the Beşiktaş direction. Alternative routes are as follows: Kadırgalar Street, Muallim Naci Street, Dereboyu Street, Büyükdere Street; traffic from the D-100 South Zincirlikuyu location will be directed towards Balmumcu/Büyükdere/Sarıyer.
