Some roads in Ankara to be closed to traffic due to MHP congress

The Ankara Provincial Police Department has announced that some roads in the city will be closed to vehicle traffic on March 17 due to the Nationalist Movement Party's (MHP) 14th Ordinary Grand Congress, which will be held at the Ankara Arena.
In the statement made by the Ankara Provincial Police Department, it was stated: "Within the scope of security measures to be taken regarding the event to be held at the Ankara Arena on March 17, starting from 07:00 on March 17 until the end of the event, the section of Cumhuriyet Street between Gar Junction and Baruthane Junction will be closed to traffic in both directions; all side variants connecting to and from Gar Junction (excluding the underpass), the entire side variant connecting from Ulaştırma Junction to Gar Junction, and the entire side variant connecting from Gar Junction to Kazım Karabekir Street (excluding the overpass) will be closed to traffic. It is announced to the press and the public that our citizens should primarily use public transportation vehicles to avoid any inconvenience."
