Some roads in Ankara to be closed to traffic today

It has been announced that in Ankara today, some roads may be closed to traffic if necessary due to the "5-Year Projects Promotion and Information Meeting" to be held by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. The Ankara Police Department has determined the roads that will be closed to vehicle traffic within the scope of the measures to be taken for the event program.
The statement said the following:
"As of 17:00 on January 27, 2024, until the end of the program, if necessary; the section of Cumhuriyet Street between Talatpaşa Boulevard and İstanbul Street, as well as all streets and avenues leading to these, will be closed to traffic in both directions. We announce to the press and the public that our citizens should primarily use public transportation to avoid any inconvenience."
