Some roads in Ankara will be closed to traffic tomorrow due to the AKP congress

Due to the 8th Ordinary Congress of the AKP, which will be held tomorrow at the Ankara Sports Hall, some roads will be closed to traffic starting from 23:00 tonight.

According to the statement made by the Ankara Police Department, due to the 8th Ordinary Grand Congress that the AKP will hold at the Ankara Sports Hall tomorrow, starting from 23:00 tonight, the section of Cumhuriyet Street between the Train Station Junction and the Baruthane Junction will be closed to traffic in both directions until the program ends. Additionally, the entire Train Station Junction and all side variants connecting to and opening into it, excluding underpasses; the entire side variant connecting from the Transportation Junction to the Train Station Junction; the entire side variant connecting from the Train Station Junction to Kazım Karabekir Street, excluding overpasses; and the entire side variant connecting from the Transportation Junction to Kazım Karabekir Street will be closed to traffic until the program concludes.

Furthermore, if deemed necessary, the section of Hipodrom Street between Kazım Karabekir Street and Mevlana Boulevard, as well as the section of Kazım Karabekir Street between Istanbul Street and Celal Bayar Boulevard, will also be closed to vehicle traffic in both directions.
