Some roads in Beyoğlu and Şişli to be closed to traffic

The Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch teams have announced the roads that will be closed to traffic in Beyoğlu and Şişli as part of security measures starting at 10:00 AM on Sunday, as well as the alternative routes.
In this context, the following streets will be closed to traffic: İstiklal Street, Sıraselviler Street, Atıf Yılmaz Street, Turnacı Başı Street, Hamalbaşı Street, Kamer Hatun Street, Yeni Çarşı Street, Meşrutiyet Street, Bostanbaşı Street, İlk Belediye Street, Hayriye Street, Asmalı Mescit Street, Cihangir Street, Tak-ı Zafer Street, Galip Dede Street, Zambak Street, Meşelik Street, Mis Street, Billurcu Street, Balo Street, Sadri Alışık Street, Akarsu Yokuşu Street, Defterdar Yokuşu Street, Kazancı Yokuşu Street, Kumbaracı Yokuşu Street, Osmanlı Street, Dünya Sağlık Street, Akyol Street, Halas Street, and Nuri Ziya Street. Additionally, Selime Hatun Cami Street, Çiftevav Street, Miralay Şefikbey Street, İnönü Street, Mete Street, and Prof. Dr. Bedri Karafakioğlu Street will be closed to traffic if deemed necessary.
Alternative routes
Alternative routes for the roads closed in Taksim have also been announced. In this context, Meclis-i Mebusan Street, Barbaros Boulevard, Cumhuriyet Street, Yedikuyular Street, Irmak Street, Piyalepaşa Boulevard, Bülent Demir Street, Bahriye Street, Fişekhane Deresi Street, Dereboyu Street, Melek Street, Evliya Çelebi Street, Irmak Street (Taksim to Dolapdere direction), Akağalar Street, Kurtuluş Street, Tarlabaşı Boulevard, Elmadağ Street, Abdulhak Hamit Street, and Dolapdere Taksim Street can be used.
In Şişli, Taşkışla Street and Askerocağı Street will also be closed to traffic if necessary. As alternative routes, Abdi İpekçi Street, Mim Kemal Öke Street, Kadırgalar Street, Dolmabahçe Gazhane Street, Maçka Street, Teşvikiye Street, Vali Konağı Street, and Cumhuriyet Street will remain open to traffic.
