Some roads in Istanbul closed to traffic
Vatan Avenue has been closed to traffic for events organized as part of the October 29 Republic Day celebrations in the 100th year of the Republic. The Governor's Office announced the names of other streets and avenues that are closed.

Events are being held across the city as part of the October 29 Republic Day celebrations in the 100th year of the Republic. The Istanbul Governor's Office announced that Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Avenue) and its connecting roads will be closed to traffic due to the celebrations.
While Vatan Avenue is closed to traffic in both directions, entry to Vatan Avenue will not be permitted from the D100 north and south directions, from Edirnekapı, or from 10. Yıl, Oğuzhan, Sofular, Halıcılar, Akdeniz, and Akşemsettin streets, Ordu Street, Atatürk Boulevard, and Keçeci Meydan Street.
It was reported that Vatan Avenue, which was closed in both directions at 06:00, will remain closed until the October 29 Republic Day celebrations conclude.
