Son of DEM Party MP targets Sabiha Gökçen: 'The name of this murderer must be erased'

Salih Gergerlioğlu, son of DEM Party Kocaeli MP Ömer Gergerlioğlu, used insulting language toward Sabiha Gökçen, the adopted daughter of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkey's first female pilot, and the world's first female combat pilot.

In his social media post, Salih Gergerlioğlu argued that the name of Sabiha Gökçen Airport should be changed, stating, "The name of Sabiha Gökçen Airport must be changed. The name of a murderer who is a symbol of painful memories and civilian casualties must be erased from everywhere."
