Son of Sudanese President laid to rest
Mohamed A. Fettah el-Burhan Rahman, the son of President Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident in Ankara and passed away in the hospital where he was receiving treatment, has been laid to rest in Ankara.

Mohamed A. Fettah el-Burhan Rahman, the son of the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, was injured on March 6 after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on İncek Martyr Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz Boulevard in Çankaya, and was subsequently admitted to Bilkent City Hospital.
Rahman, who had been receiving treatment in the intensive care unit for a long time, passed away yesterday at the hospital where he had been fighting for his life for approximately 2 months.
His funeral was brought to Karşıyaka Cemetery today, and he was laid to rest following the funeral prayer led by the President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş.
The funeral was attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Director İbrahim Kalın, former Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ, his father Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and his relatives.
