The Competition Board has decided to impose an administrative fine of 2 million 50 thousand 233 Turkish Lira on Abko İç ve Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti (ABKO), which operates in the cosmetics and personal care products sector.

"INVESTIGATION CONCLUDED"

According to the announcement published on the Competition Authority's website, the investigation conducted by the Competition Board into the company, which operates in the cosmetics and personal care products sector under the 'Davines' brand, to determine whether it violated the 'Law on the Protection of Competition' has been concluded.

"SETTLEMENT REACHED WITH THE COMPANY"

In this context, the Board examined whether ABKO violated the law by restricting the online sales of its resellers and determining their resale prices.

During the evaluations, the final commitment text submitted by the enterprise, stating that products could be resold through all online channels, was found to be sufficient to resolve the identified competition issues and was accepted.

"THE COMPANY WILL PAY TWO MILLION FIFTY THOUSAND TURKISH LIRA"

The commitments in question were made binding for the enterprise. The investigation was concluded with a settlement, and an administrative fine of 2 million 50 thousand 233 Turkish Lira was imposed on the company.
