State incentives have poured into Fahrettin Koca's hospital!

It has been learned that Medipol Hospital, founded by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, was included in the scope of state support shortly after Koca took his seat as minister.

MINISTER BOLAT ANNOUNCED: 5.9 MILLION IN INCENTIVES PROVIDED

Responding to a question from Republican People's Party (CHP) Ankara Deputy Murat Emir, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat announced that 5.9 million TL in support has been provided to Medipol Hospital to date. Minister Bolat announced that Medipol Hospital, which has the potential for health tourism branding, was included in the brand support program on November 27, 2019, within the scope of the Turquality Support Program.

Reminding that Health Minister Koca took office in July 2018, CHP's Emir said, "Almost all AKP ministers, general managers, and bureaucrats find ways to provide rent to their own firms as soon as they take office. When we say that lucrative tenders and jobs are being secured, they react to us. From the Minister of Trade's response, we understand that Health Minister Fahrettin Koca's first act upon taking his ministerial seat was to start looking for ways to provide support to the hospital he founded."

"MUST IMMEDIATELY BE SUBJECT TO INVESTIGATION"

Stating that the 5.9 million TL provided could be considered even higher when thinking since 2019, Emir called out, "It is absolutely unacceptable for a minister to use his ministerial seat to provide millions of TL in benefits to his own hospital, and the details of this support must immediately be subject to investigation by the relevant institutions. On the other hand, the Minister of Trade stated that a total of 13 health tourism sector brands have benefited from the support, but left our question regarding who these beneficiaries are unanswered. We invite the Minister of Trade to be transparent and to disclose who has been given these millions of TL in support."
