According to data shared by AFAD, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake occurred at 01:01, centered in the Saimbeyli district of Adana.

While the earthquake caused brief panic, it was determined that there were no negative consequences.

On the other hand, a 5.2-magnitude earthquake also occurred in Malatya yesterday evening.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ercan made a statement on his personal social media account regarding the earthquakes that caused brief panic.

"The Malatya M5.3 earthquake also had its major M4.2 aftershock. It has entered a rapid damping phase.

The events in Adana-Saimbeyli are not earthquakes. They are minor tremors smaller than M4 that can happen anywhere."
