In a press statement regarding Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office reiterated that an international travel ban is in place and that all of their assets have been seized.

The statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is as follows:

"Following reports filed with our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding Engin Polat, Dilan Polat, and other suspects, investigation procedures have been initiated against the suspects for the crimes of 'Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime' under Law No. 5549, 'Violation of the Tax Procedure Law' under Law No. 213, and 'Violation of Law No. 7258.' Within the scope of the ongoing investigation, a judicial control measure regarding an international travel ban has been applied to the suspects; furthermore, all assets of the suspects have been seized under Article 128 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CMK), and a confidentiality order has been issued regarding the file. Necessary procedures are being meticulously carried out to uncover the material truth in every aspect within the scope of the investigation."
