Statement from ÇYDD regarding Sedat Peker's donation! 'No such donation has been received into the account'

Journalist İzzet Çapa announced in a post on his social media account that Sedat Peker had called him and ordered 5,000 copies of his second book, 'Bu Kitabı Tersten Okuyun', with the proceeds donated to the Association for Supporting Contemporary Living (ÇYDD) for the education of female students. Appreciating this support from Peker, Çapa said, "He is a father of daughters after all, he understands the situation of children. On behalf of our students, the ÇYDD, and my humble self, I thank him wholeheartedly."
Following this order, a donation of approximately 1.5 million TL was expected to be made to the ÇYDD.
STATEMENT FROM ÇYDD
However, following this announcement, a statement regarding the matter came from the Association for Supporting Contemporary Living. The association issued a public announcement in response to the reports circulating on social media, stating that the donation in question had no basis in reality.
In the statement made by the ÇYDD Headquarters, it was noted: "We observe that there are reports/posts on social media accounts claiming that the proceeds from businessman and author İzzet Çapa's latest book have been donated to our association and that the book was purchased in bulk for donation to our association.
As a non-governmental organization with high public prestige due to its transparency and reliability, we state that we do not approve of these posts and reports made outside of our institution's processes and knowledge, and that we do not have a donation agreement with the aforementioned author; therefore, no such donation has been received into our association's account."
