The statement noted that the final 5 workers will be sent to their hometowns today to be laid to rest.

The Erzincan Governor's Office stated that the final 5 workers who remained under the soil following the collapse at the mining site in the İliç district will be sent to their hometowns today.
The Governor's Office issued a statement regarding the workers whose bodies were found months after they were trapped under the soil during the collapse at the Çöpler Gold Mine on February 13.
The following was noted in the post shared on the Governor's Office's social media account:
"The bodies of our final 5 brothers who remained under the soil as a result of the landslide in our İliç district have been recovered. We wish God's mercy upon our brothers who lost their lives, and offer our condolences and patience to their grieving families, relatives, and loved ones. The funeral prayers for the workers will be held today at the Erzincan Terzibaba Mosque following the noon prayer. The funerals of Fahrettin Keklik and Şaban Yılmaz will be laid to rest in the İliç district, the funerals of Hüseyin Kara and Abdurrahman Şahin in Sivas, and the funeral of Mehmet Kazar in Osmaniye."
