Following allegations that bonuses were not paid to personnel working at Eyüpsultan Municipality, that shuttle services were canceled, and that meal services were made fee-based, a formal statement was issued by the municipal administration.
In the statement made by the municipality, it was noted that the cancellation of the shuttle service was carried out within the scope of austerity measures.

Dear employees,
Regarding the personnel shuttle service currently provided for our staff with civil servant status under the Civil Servants Law No. 657, a necessity has arisen to terminate this service on January 30, 2026, within the scope of the Presidential Circular on Austerity Measures No. 2024/7.
Starting from this date, a monthly transportation support payment will be implemented for our employees with civil servant status, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement dated April 1, 2024.
For our personnel working under the Statutory Decree (KHK) who currently benefit or do not benefit from this service, the monthly transportation support payment, which is already being provided under the collective bargaining agreement dated July 1, 2024, will continue.
