A 5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Sea of Marmara, Gemlik Bay (off the coast of Mudanya, Bursa) at 10:42.
IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu said the following in a post on his social media account regarding the matter:
"Get well soon to all our provinces affected by the 5.1 magnitude earthquake centered in Gemlik, which was also felt in Istanbul. There are no negative reports reaching us in Istanbul so far; we are monitoring the situation."
