In a written statement issued by International Defense Consulting Construction Industry and Trade Inc. (SADAT), the following remarks were made:
"The then-CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu conducted his own election propaganda during the 2022 election period using unreal rhetoric consisting entirely of lies and fabricated accusations against our company; he was unable to prove his claims in the lawsuit we filed and could not present any evidence.
Kılıçdaroğlu first lost the 1 million lira compensation lawsuit filed by our company in April 2023, and then lost the election 1 month later. Since Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu did not pay the compensation amount he was sentenced to over the past 1.5 years, our Law Office has placed a lien through enforcement proceedings on Kılıçdaroğlu's assets, his receivables from various lawsuits, and all his bank accounts," the statement said.
STATEMENT FROM KILIÇDAROĞLU'S LAWYER
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer, Celal Çelik, responded to the claims in a statement on his social media account.
Çelik stated, "In the lawsuit filed by SADAT due to the justified criticisms made by our Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on May 13, 2022, the local court ruled for 30 thousand in compensation, even though the accuracy of the criticisms directed was proven.
Because enforcement was sought even though the decision had not become final, the awarded compensation amount was deposited by us to the enforcement office. Following the notification of the decision rendered by the Court of Appeal on December 24, 2024, SADAT additionally resorted to enforcement proceedings for a total of 8 thousand TL in accrued interest.
However, without the mandatory notifications (service of process) for payment being made to us by the enforcement office, and furthermore, without being given the period stipulated by law for payment, enforcement proceedings were carried out (unlawfully) for the 8 thousand TL amount. Criminal complaints will be filed against those responsible for these criminal actions, and compensation lawsuits will also be initiated," he said.
