Epözdemir announced that they will take legal action regarding 'posts that are incompatible with conscience and humanity and that seek to legitimize this murder.' Making the announcement on his X account, Epözdemir stated, "Today, we observed that these and similar accounts are making organized posts that are incompatible with conscience and humanity, and that seek to legitimize this murder of Pınar Gültekin, who was burned alive in the prime of her life. We will pursue the necessary legal avenues against those who make these posts to ensure they receive exemplary punishment."
