Statement from Minister Işıkhan: When will holiday bonuses be paid?

REMOVAL OF SHUTTLE SERVICES IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR
Evaluating the removal of shuttle services in the public sector as part of austerity measures, Işıkhan said, "We all have to take responsibility and do what is necessary regarding austerity measures."
Stating that "Our primary goal is to increase the efficiency of the Turkish Lira and raise purchasing power," Minister Işıkhan noted that as inflation falls, welfare levels will also rise. Işıkhan said that in this context, the goal is to ensure permanent prosperity.
WHEN WILL THE HOLIDAY BONUS BE DEPOSITED?
Işıkhan also stated that scheduling work for retirees' holiday bonus payments is ongoing. Işıkhan said, "We will pay them before the holiday; the schedule will be announced soon."
Minister Işıkhan stated that there are 3 million 601 thousand retirees with a base pension below 10 thousand liras. He announced that they are continuing efforts to support retirees socially and economically by making agreements with the public and private sectors. Işıkhan said, "We will implement many agreements for our retirees, ranging from communication, transportation, and cultural activities to chain markets and online marketplaces."
HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR EYT?
Opening a separate parenthesis for those who retired with the EYT regulation, Işıkhan said that nearly 2 million people have retired. Işıkhan stated that 2.5 million more people will be included in the system over the next 5 years.
