Minister Tunç stated the following in a post on his social media account:
"I pray for God's mercy upon our 3 children and their mother who lost their lives in the fire that broke out in a building in our province of Diyarbakır, and I extend my condolences and patience to their relatives.
Regarding this incident, which has deeply saddened us all, a judicial investigation has been initiated by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and 2 public prosecutors have been assigned under the coordination of a deputy chief prosecutor. The investigation is being carried out meticulously."
