Statement from Minister Yumaklı regarding forest fires
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that forest fires in 4 provinces have been completely brought under control. He reported that 6 fires in Muğla, Antalya, Balıkesir, and Çanakkale are also largely under control.

As efforts continue to combat forest fires that have broken out in different regions of the country with rising temperatures in the summer months, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı made a statement regarding the latest situation.
In a post on his social media account, Minister Yumaklı announced that the forest fires in Armutlu in Yalova, Domaniç and Altıntaş in Kütahya, and the central district of Çanakkale have been completely brought under control.
Yumaklı stated that the fires in Seydikemer in Muğla, Kaş and Kumluca in Antalya, Edremit-Altınoluk and Gömeç in Balıkesir, and the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale are also largely under control. Efforts to combat the fire in Alanya, Antalya are ongoing.
