Statement from Muhittin Böcek regarding his health status following angiography

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek underwent an angiography procedure at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine Hospital for routine check-up purposes. No health issues were found during the routine examinations, and the procedure was completed successfully.

Sharing the latest update on his health status via his social media account, Mayor Böcek stated, "In the angiography performed for check-up purposes today, thankfully, it was determined that there are no cardiological issues.

I owe a debt of gratitude to all my friends who called, asked, and sent messages from the moment they heard the news. Please forgive me for not being able to return calls and messages today, as I am resting upon the advice of my doctors.

I would like to thank Cardiology Specialist Prof. Dr. Cengiz Ermiş, who performed today's operation at Akdeniz University, our Akdeniz University Rector Prof. Dr. Özlenen Özkan, our family friend Prof. Dr. Ömer Özkan, Chief Physician of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Yıldıray Çete, all hospital staff, and through this occasion, all healthcare workers to whom we entrust our lives. I will be back on duty to work for our Antalya with the same care, sensitivity, and most importantly, determination and pride. Thank you very much for your interest and concern."
