Statement from Murat Ongun regarding Rıdvan Dilmen's planned criminal complaint: I will respond
Murat Ongun, advisor to the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and Chairman of the Board of Medya A.Ş., who is currently detained as part of an investigation into the IMM, has responded in a written statement to the 'I will file a criminal complaint' remarks made by lawyer Beliz Özkan and former footballer and sports commentator Rıdvan Dilmen.

Ongun responded in a written statement to lawyer Beliz Özkan, who denied the allegations he raised in his defense, and to former footballer Rıdvan Dilmen, who announced he would file a criminal complaint against him.
According to a report by Gazete Pencere, Ongun, who claimed in his defense on June 30 that lawyer Beliz Özkan, who visited him in prison, demanded 1 million dollars in exchange for her husband not being arrested, responded to Özkan, who denied the allegations, with the following words:
Addressing Özkan, Ongun stated, "Dear lawyer Beliz Özkan; you have denied the immoral offer you made to me. Both you and our lawyer friend who visited me in mid-February to request that this incident remain secret on your behalf know the truth. Your attendance at the Saraçhane rally and your social circle do not erase this immoral offer of yours!"
ONGUN TO DİLMEN: I WILL RESPOND
Responding to former footballer and commentator Rıdvan Dilmen, who stated he would file a complaint against him, Ongun said, "Dear Rıdvan Dilmen; you have declared that you will take me to court. If you publish the criminal complaint you stated you would file on Wednesday, July 1, I will respond to you."
In his defense on June 30, Murat Ongun had stated that one of the defendants, Alper Aydın, had written a letter to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office claiming that they had concealed his partnership with former footballer Rıdvan Dilmen until the end of 2024.
Ongun had said, "Now Nihat Sütlaş says 'Murat has nothing to do with Reklam İstanbul.' We are tearing ourselves apart here. The company owner says Rıdvan Dilmen is my partner until the end of 2024; 8-9 months have passed and no one has called Rıdvan Dilmen to give a statement. They arrested Alper and threw him in prison. No one has done to Rıdvan Dilmen what they did to Alper Aydın."
Following this, Rıdvan Dilmen issued a statement, reacting to Ongun and stating that he would file a criminal complaint.
