According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the center of Bolu.

It was determined that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7.31 kilometers.

“A 4.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Bolu-Mesciçele. There are small strike-slip faults just to the north of Bolu. One of these must have ruptured. With love.”
