Following the 3.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Kırıkhan district of Hatay, Prof. Dr. Naci Görür stated in a post on his social media account, "There is nothing to worry about."

According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 3.9 magnitude tremor was recorded at 05:05 with its epicenter in the Kırıkhan district of Hatay.

The earthquake was determined to be at a depth of 8.94 kilometers.

Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür made a statement on social media following the earthquake that occurred in the Kırıkhan district of Hatay.

Showing the earthquake on a map, Görür used the following expressions:

"A 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Özsoğuksu-Kırıkhan/Hatay. This earthquake is an aftershock of the February 6 earthquake; there is nothing to worry about."
