Statement from Özgür Özel regarding the ship hijacked in Aden
CHP leader Özgür Özel has issued a statement regarding the ship seized in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Yemen, which has two Turkish crew members on board.

It has been reported that an Israel-linked ship was seized by unidentified armed attackers off the coast of the city of Aden in Yemen. It was announced that there are 2 Turkish crew members on board the ship.
It was stated that the ship, on which Turkish mariners Captain Aydın Hasırcı and 4th Captain Okan Yüksel were serving, is considered to have been hijacked and that constant communication is being maintained with all relevant units, primarily the company involved.
STATEMENT FROM ÖZGÜR ÖZEL
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made a statement regarding the hijacked ship on the X platform.
Özel stated, "I have just been informed that a chemical tanker, which also has our citizens Aydın Hasırcı and Okan Yüksel on board, has been hijacked in the Gulf of Aden. We are following the process through the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Transport. We are ready to provide support for the efforts to rescue our citizens."
