Statement from Prof. Dr. Naci Görür on Muğla and Adana: He warned of a 'risk of a larger earthquake'

Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür evaluated the magnitude 4 earthquakes that occurred yesterday (March 25) in Adana and Muğla.
In his assessment on X, Görür noted that the Muğla earthquake took place on the Acıpayam Fault Zone. Warning about the fault zone in question, Görür stated, "This zone has the capacity to produce much larger earthquakes."
Evaluating the Adana earthquake as well, Görür noted that the earthquake occurred in a region close to the Savrun Fault Zone and that this region is generally under stress.
