It was alleged that the e-commerce site Temu, which is widely used in Turkey, would face restrictions on its sales if it did not open a representative office. The platform, which hosts many products ranging from clothing to household goods, had quickly become one of the most used applications.

MINISTRY DENIES CLAIMS

While many users of the e-commerce site were researching whether it would be shut down, the Ministry responded to the claims in question. According to the report in Mynet, there is no investigation or ban regarding Temu's sales.

Responding to the claims, the Ministry stated, "There is no action being taken by the Ministry regarding TEMU."

With the regulation that came into effect on April 1, a representative requirement was introduced for overseas-based shopping sites.
