"The incident we see in the public eye and in the media has deeply shaken us. I hope it is not true... What is being said and what has happened is very sad, very painful. Ultimately, we are talking about the murder of a young woman. It is an incident that happened 6 years ago. Unfortunately, the findings point to our Governor Tuncay Bey's son as the perpetrator of this murder. The fact that the name of a former governor's son is being pointed to in this murder... The questioning in that direction, the re-questioning of some people in the file... It will be revealed very clearly after their statements are taken."

Stating that the Ministry of Justice and the Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office are carefully continuing the process, Saral emphasized that there will be no privileges. He used the following expressions in his statement:
"Our Ministry of Justice is doing what is right. Whoever it is, whoever is at the highest level of the state... If the indicators and findings reveal it, no one can escape justice. A state cannot exist without justice... We hope that it did not happen that way, but if there is such a thing, whatever justice says, even if it is that father's son, whoever's son it is, if such a murder has been committed... This deeply disturbs the collective conscience. The finger cut by justice does not ache. Whoever it is, that father's son, that official's son... whoever it is, they must be handed over to justice."
