Statement from Yılmaz Tunç on Narin Güran: That detail drew attention

8-year-old Narin Güran went missing on August 21 after leaving a Quran course in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district in Diyarbakır.

On the 19th day of the search efforts, tragic news arrived regarding Narin. The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin was found.

STATEMENT FROM MINISTER TUNÇ: THEY WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE BEFORE JUSTICE

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made a statement regarding the incident, which has been closely followed by Turkey.

Stating that the investigation is being conducted meticulously, Tunç used the expression, "Those responsible for the death of our daughter Narin will be held accountable before justice."

HE DID NOT OFFER CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY

It drew attention that Minister Tunç, like Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, did not offer condolences to Narin's family.

Tunç's statement is as follows:

"The tragic news regarding our child Narin Güran, who went missing in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, has deeply saddened us all.

I pray for God's mercy upon our daughter Narin.

The investigation initiated by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office from the very first moment of the incident is being carried out in a multi-faceted and meticulous manner. 

Those responsible for the death of our daughter Narin will be held accountable before justice."
