In an incident that took place last Sunday in the Yukarı neighborhood of Kartal, 50-year-old Emin Sayar, who owns a hardware store, shot and killed his employee, Önder Boyacı, following an argument. Sayar, who was taken into custody by teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Murder Bureau, reportedly said, "Önder is the son of a friend of mine. We have been staying in the same residence for 2 years. I learned that he had been harassing the woman I have been living with for a long time. When I asked him about it, an argument broke out. He attacked me with a knife, so I fired my gun."
Following his interrogation at the Public Security Branch Office's Murder Bureau, Emin Sayar was transferred to the Anatolian Courthouse.
