Emphasizing deep sorrow over the health workers in question, the statement said, "Our primary duty is to protect the health of our public. Fulfilling the requirements of this duty is possible by protecting the well-being and health of our healthcare workers. In this context, we must work with sensitivity and in cooperation to protect the well-being and health of every member of our large healthcare community with a collective and determined commitment to work."

"Our Ministry has immediately made high-level appointments to clarify the details of the matter and to inform the public.
Investigation and inquiry processes will be conducted under the responsibility of a general manager and a member of the Medical Specialization Board (TUK), and detailed information will be provided to the public.
We wish God's mercy upon our healthcare worker who lost their life in the painful incidents in İzmir, and extend our condolences to their family and loved ones. We are closely monitoring the condition of our healthcare worker whose treatment is ongoing."
