Statement regarding President Erdoğan's meeting with Hamas Shura Council Chairman Darwish

According to a statement from the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the meeting held at the Presidential Complex addressed the ceasefire process in Gaza and current developments in Palestine.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the struggle Hamas has waged for 471 days has once again shown that the spirit of resistance will not fade.
President Erdoğan said that Turkey will continue to explain the realities in Gaza and provide support, and that he hopes for the successful completion of the second and third phases of the established ceasefire.
President Erdoğan was accompanied at the meeting by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, MIT Director İbrahim Kalın, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Chief of Staff Hasan Doğan, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Chief Advisor Sefer Turan.
