Step-sibling murder in Gaziantep
Syrian national Emine Yusuf (54), who was severely injured in an attack in Gaziantep's Ünaldı neighborhood, passed away after suffering a heart attack at the hospital where she was taken. The suspects, who fled the scene after taking gold from the house, were apprehended shortly after.

In an incident that occurred yesterday around noon in Gaziantep, it is alleged that Emine Yusuf's step-brother, Muhammed V. (35), and three individuals accompanying him arrived at Yusuf's home due to a family dispute. The argument, which escalated quickly, turned into a fight. During the scuffle, Emine Yusuf was beaten, and her 15-year-old daughter, Zeynep V., sustained a knife wound.
Immediately following the incident, neighborhood residents notified the police and medical teams. The teams arrived at the scene shortly after and transported the injured mother and daughter to Abdulkadir Yüksel State Hospital. However, Emine Yusuf lost her life due to a heart attack she suffered there. The mother's body was delivered to her family following an autopsy.
Muhammed V. and the three individuals with him, who fled after taking gold from the house following the attack, were caught and taken into custody during an operation. A multi-faceted investigation into the incident is ongoing.
