A release order has been issued in the case of 2-year-old baby Sıla, who lost her life after being subjected to sexual abuse.

Saadet Özkan, Chair of the UCİM Association for Combating Child Abuse, announced that the stepfather accused of sexual abuse has been released.
In a statement on her X account, Saadet Özkan said:
According to information we received from our Tekirdağ legal coordinator, we have learned that the stepfather has been released in the case of 2-year-old baby Sıla Yeniçeri, who was killed through torture and abuse.
Anyone who was negligent, witnessed the abuse, heard about it, or was present in the environment must receive exemplary sentences.
We have major problems to overcome; special courts must be established for victimized children.
