Storm claims a life in Sinop: Woman dies after being trapped under collapsed granary
A severe storm toppled a grain storehouse in Meydan village, located in the Erfelek district of Sinop. Nefize Keserci, who was under the structure, lost her life.

The incident occurred around 08:30 in the morning in Meydan village, located in the Erfelek district of Sinop.
According to the information obtained, 77-year-old Nefize Keserci had spent some time in her garden before moving under the grain storehouse located next to her house to rest.
TRAPPED UNDER THE GRAIN STOREHOUSE
At that moment, a severe storm broke out and toppled the grain storehouse. The elderly woman was trapped underneath. Upon notification by local residents, medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Examinations confirmed that the elderly woman had lost her life. While the gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the incident, the prosecutor is expected to arrive at the scene. It was learned that Nefize Keserci lived alone, her husband had passed away, and her children lived in Istanbul.
