Storm warning for Çanakkale and Balıkesir
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a storm warning for the areas surrounding Çanakkale and Balıkesir.

According to the statement made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the wind in the surrounding areas of Çanakkale and Balıkesir is expected to increase in intensity starting this evening, blowing from the north and northeast as strong, gusty winds, and as a short-term storm in higher elevations.
The strong winds and storm are expected to lose their effect after the morning hours on Saturday.
Caution and precautions are advised against disruptions in transportation, as well as the risk of falling trees, toppled poles, and roofs being blown off.
