Strict inspection directive from the Governor's Office: Ban on unauthorized street vendors

Strict inspections are coming for the activities of food and pest control companies, which have frequently been on the agenda recently. The circular sent by the Governor's Office to the relevant distribution points includes the following rules:
1. Within the scope of the Regulation on Registration and Approval Procedures for Food Businesses, street vending vehicles that fall under exceptional provisions will be meticulously examined by Municipalities and issued a permit:
*No street vending vehicle without a permit will be allowed to operate.
*Street vending vehicles that are issued a permit will be monitored by the issuing authority in terms of food safety.
2. Camera systems will be installed in the production and sales areas of food businesses, and all recordings will be kept for 30 days.
3. Companies providing pest control services and the businesses where pest control is applied will be inspected. Administrative proceedings will be initiated by Provincial/District Health Directorates against those acting in violation of the provisions of the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles for the Use of Biocidal Products, and if deemed necessary, a criminal complaint will be filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
4. In the event of a possible poisoning case despite all preventive measures taken, rapid information flow will be ensured by establishing the necessary coordination between relevant institutions through the GAMER secretariat, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Governor responsible for the Security Emergency and Coordination Center.
5. Businesses found to be acting in violation of the legislation as a result of the inspections will be sealed by the municipal police or relevant units and reported to Law Enforcement Units. Whether the seal has been broken will be regularly monitored by personnel assigned by the relevant law enforcement units, primarily neighborhood watchmen. In the event that it is determined that the business is continuing its operations without authorization by breaking the seal by business owners, employees, or third parties, the necessary procedures will be carried out by the institution that conducted the inspection or received the report, and a criminal complaint will be filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against those responsible.
